Choosing a motorcycle part is easier when fitment, material, included items and installation requirements are clear before checkout. This guide answers the questions Carbonify customers most often need to resolve before ordering a carbon-fibre part, an exhaust mid-pipe or a custom-manufactured component.

Stock, ordering and delivery
Is the item in stock?
Most standard Carbonify products are normally available to order. The availability shown on the individual product page is the current buying reference. If an item is sold out, additional lead time may apply; contact Carbonify for the current estimate.
How do I check delivery cost and timing?
Delivery cost and the available shipping service are shown at checkout for your destination and parcel size. Final timing can vary by destination, customs processing and the selected service. You do not need to choose a warehouse or production location.
How do I check whether a part fits my motorcycle?
Match the motorcycle make, model and model year in the product title and fitment details to your bike. Then review the SKU, product images, mounting points, included-items note and installation guidance. If anything is unclear, send Carbonify the product link and your motorcycle details before checkout.
What is included with the product?
Use the “Included” information on the individual product page. Hardware is included only where the listing states it. Do not assume that clamps, gaskets, fasteners or brackets are supplied with every product.
What if I order the wrong part?
Please check fitment before ordering and review the Carbonify Returns Policy. If you are uncertain about fitment, contact us before checkout so the listing details can be reviewed with you.
Carbon-fibre motorcycle parts
Is every Carbonify part full CFRP?
Use the material statement on the individual product page. Where a product is described as full CFRP, the listing may also specify its layup, weave and whether it has a fibreglass backing. Do not assume the construction is identical across the entire catalogue.
Which weave and finish should I choose?
Choose the weave and finish that best matches the other visible carbon parts on your motorcycle. Availability varies by product. Review the product options and images, and contact Carbonify if you need help matching an existing finish or discussing a custom coloured layup.
Is professional installation recommended?
Check the installation note on the product page. Professional installation is recommended when alignment, drilling, trimming, heat management or removal of safety-critical components may be involved. Test-fit the part before making permanent modifications.
Where can I browse carbon-fibre parts?

Exhaust mid-pipes
How do I confirm exhaust mid-pipe compatibility?
Confirm the motorcycle model and year in the listing, then compare the inlet, outlet, mounting points and available dimensions with your existing exhaust setup. Exhaust combinations can vary, so ask a professional installer to check the connection points when you are unsure.
What material are the exhaust mid-pipes made from?
The material is stated on each product page. Carbonify’s current exhaust mid-pipe listings include stainless-steel products, but the individual listing is the correct reference for the item you are considering.
Are clamps, gaskets and fitting hardware included?
Included parts vary by SKU. Check the product description and the “Included” information before ordering. Unless the listing explicitly names a clamp, gasket or fitting, do not assume it is supplied.
Will I need an ECU tune?
Tuning requirements depend on the motorcycle, the complete exhaust combination and any other engine modifications. Carbonify does not recommend assuming that one answer applies to every setup. Ask your installer or tuning specialist to assess the final configuration.
Is an exhaust mid-pipe legal for road use?
Emissions and noise rules vary by location and by the final exhaust configuration. The buyer and installer are responsible for checking local road-use, emissions and noise requirements before installation or use.

Custom CNC machining
Which files can I send for a CNC quote?
Carbonify accepts STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, STL, OBJ, DWG, DXF, PDF and ZIP files for project review. Include the quantity, material, critical dimensions, tolerance, surface finish, intended use and target timing.
Which materials can Carbonify machine?
Materials available after project review include aluminium 6061 and 7075, stainless steel, titanium, brass and engineering plastics. The final manufacturing route depends on the geometry, tolerance, finish and quantity.
What tolerances are available?
Critical tolerances are reviewed from the drawing before production. Capability down to ±0.01 mm may be available after engineering review; it is not automatically suitable or required for every feature.
Can I order one prototype or a small batch?
Yes. Carbonify supports one-off prototypes and repeat small-batch production, with project quantities from 1 to 500+ reviewed according to the part and manufacturing route.
How quickly will I receive a CNC quotation?
After receiving the project details and accessible files, Carbonify normally replies within 1–2 business days with the recommended route, price and expected production lead time.

Custom 3D printing
What is Carbonify’s 3D-printing service designed for?
The service supports functional prototypes, full-scale mockups and fitment jigs, including engine mockups, exhaust-routing aids, bodywork checks and assembly-fit tests. The aim is to validate form, fit, clearance and assembly before committing to final production.
What information should I send for a 3D-printing quote?
Send your CAD or drawing file, approximate size, scale, intended use, quantity, strength or surface requirements, finishing or assembly needs and target timing. Carbonify reviews the geometry and application before recommending a printing route.
How quickly will I receive a 3D-printing quotation?
